Walked up Butler Fork today around noon after the snow tapered off for a bit. Even with the cloud cover I observed a large amount of rollerballs and general wet sluffing into the gully. Also noticed a crust forming on the snow surface of the lower elevation portion of the gully, all of which were enough to impact my travel decisions.
