Saturday around 7:45am, myself and a friend dropped in on the east face of Cardiff Bowl (LCC), down the ridge northeast from the peak. On the way up, we saw one skier not in our group drop in a little higher on the ridge, which brought down a little sluff from the new snow.
When my partner dropped in, a soft slab broke about 25 feet wide and 6 inches deep. This was Friday evening's snow that broke and slid off Thursday morning/daytime snow. The slide ran down the entirety of the face. The layer was very light snow and wasn't deep enough to cause any concern of catching/carrying/burying.
Photos were taken by me from above the slide.
