Comments
The slope had obvious loading from the last 24 hrs but I was surprised how touchy the slab was and how far back it broke. The slide arrested quickly in low angle terrain but there was a good bit of snow that moved. It would have been high consequences on a steeper slope.
Comments
There were numerous other large natural avalanches in Neeley bowl. North facing. These broke to the ground and had car-sized chunks of debris. The crowns appeared to be 4-5' and up to 200' wide.
