Hi Paige, sending 9 Jan obs via sat from BG yurt. Sheltered new snow is dry (<10% h2o content) and sluffs easily on 25deg slopes. Winds made for low visibility
As low as 20' at times. Open slopes & ridges abv 8k' are windloaded. Hollow slabs make for hard travel & spooky instability signs. Today looks same
