Avalanche Problem #1
Problem
Wet Snow
Trend
Increasing Danger
Problem #1 Comments
With no overnight refreeze, the snow became wet and sloppy almost immediately. The snow at lower elevations was more firm and supportable than the snow at mid and upper elevations. We topped out in woodcamp around 8am, and the snow on the eastern aspects was already completely unsupportable, wet, and sluffy. As the week continues with high temps and no overnight refreezing, I expect the wet avalanche problem will continue to get worse.
Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Gliding Snow

Increasing Danger
Problem #2 Comments
Noted a small pocket of gliding snow in the north woodcamp bowl a little ways above the crowns from the wet slides that released a couple weeks ago. Not very big, but would be worth avoiding as temperatures rise this week.
Comments
I'll attach a picture of the glide cracks and a video I took around 8:30am of the wet grains sliding from a small ski cut
