Massive avalanche released about 1/3 of the way up the Y Couloir and ran down to where living trees stood. Slide uprooted trees and deposited rock solid human size boulders of snow - see my partner at the bottom left of photo for scale. The remaining bed surface was a sheet of ice that is not skiable.
