Watched this avalanche from the road at the bottom of Two Trees/Superior. Was on the phone and radio with the party that triggered it remotely from the ridge. Started as a small cornice break on the east ridge just before the summit. The cornice piece took a lot of loose snow with it. About 700' down the slide stepped down into a deeper slab, looked to be a couple feet deep. This ran almost all the way to the road. Total vertical 2300'-2400'. Earlier in the morning that party and my party remotely triggered a large slab on Little Superior that ran over 1000'. My team bailed shortly after that and skied down two trees, where we watched the slide on Main Superior shortly after.
Tons of wind loading on southerly aspects today, sizeable wins slabs that are breaking down deeper to older layers of snow. Be careful out there today
