Red Flags Comments
We didn't encounter any significant Red Flags along our route. Outside of a few areas of cornice debris and small loose dry sluffs there was nothing to note. New snow depth was about 8-10' of new on top of ice crust and a supportable base below. Turning conditions and traction were top shelf which made boon docking and tight maneuvering very easy.

Comments
I ran a ECT @ 8500' on a NE facing slope. No results, or, ECTX.. After the test I placed my shovel behind the column and was able break the new snow layer at the new snow and ice crust interface at about 15 cm's deep. See pics below. With the cold temps and clear, COLD nights it will be interesting to see if excessive faceting starts to take place at this ice crust layer above and/or below the crust. If so, this layer could be problematic in the future with added weight from new storms.
