We thought we'd get a bit of sun and we did for a few minutes before the clouds rolled in again....periods of light snow, temperatures seemed to drop in the afternoon.

We found really nice deep powder conditions and good stqability in upper elevation north facing terrain. Excellent shallower powder at lower elevations and the slightest b it of a sun-crust on due south facing slopes due to a few minutes of sun this morning.

We found a deep stable snowpack in the Central Bear River Range with very little recent natural avalanche activity.
