Comments
Very minor cracking between skis. Minimal noise as ascending. Tons of large snow bombs were dropping that didn't propogate.
Skied under 30* and in the pines on the north face. Snow was beautiful until it got a little heavy around 8500'.
Minor wet slab avalanches on 50*+ west face from yesterday. Happened where rocks dropped onto snow from a cliffband.
I am not ready to ski steeper north or east facing terrain (lots of east facing avalanches near PC powdercats area).
