Problem #1 Comments
Throughout the course of the day there was a noticeable persistent wind. Along the Desolation ridge we performed a shovel tilt test. This proved to be useful as it easily produced a clean fracture. Also along the ridge between Home Run and Clifford’s Wish there was a small slope where we were able to trigger a small wind slab about 1.5 feet deep.

Problem #2 Comments
We dug a pit in the Home Run area with an incredible depth at around 250cm. (@9200’ NE) We were mainly searching for the PWL to see how it was holding up with the new snow loads. Ironically we did not find facets at our pit location. (Photo 2) I’m not sure if it was our poor pit location (seeing as it had blown in quite a bit) or if they had just healed up. My best guess it was the pit location.
