While travelling northwest on Sheep Shit Ridge toward peak 9467 we observed several large cornices and spotted an avalanche on the northeast side of the peak. Getting a good picture was hard with the conditions today, but as best we could tell it was about 12-15" deep and ~250' wide failing in the storm snow.
