More sustaine Moderate to strong winds than forecasted today. We observed transport and creek cut cornices forming.

Winds Mod Gust Strong at 11k out of the NNW . Observed transport and loading in mid and upper elevations. S1 to S-1 snowfal throughout the day in Mid and Upper el. Skies overcast. Observed PWL with 4F slabunderneath storm snow. We stuck to low angle terrain and had limited to visibility. No avaanche activity observed in the terrain we traveled.
Overall the weather did not lineup with the forecast. Mid elevation winds were sustained at moderate and snow fall rates where more consistant and produced more precip than predicted with no clearingmid day.
