Just a quick note on snow stability off the beaten path/skin track. Went up Millcreek Canyon today to avoid the Cottonwood Canyon boondoggle and along the way regularly wandered off the road from 7000 ft. and higher to explore snow stability. Set off multiple collapses just about everywhere I went. No shooting cracks or remotely triggered slides observed but it's clear the snowpack is still plenty cranky.
