Snow Profile Comments
This profile was dug on the right flank of a remotely triggered SS-ASr-R2-D2-O. Weak layer was the November Facet Layer (NFL). ECTP11 and PST 25/100 (End) both at 63cm. SS originated from strong wind Nov30 plus low density new snow on top.
Comments
I triggered this avalanche today while skiing down the low angle subridge between No Name and No No Name. The low angle slope collapsed and remotely triggered this SS-ASr-R2-D2-O about 100' away on the steeper 38deg slope below. I didn't notice it at first while I was skiing because I couldn't see below the breakover. I stopped to decide if I should keep skiing and looked back to see a portion of the crown. Dimensions are 55cm (22") deep x 100' wide. In the second pic you can see the low angle sub-ridge trigger point on the left about 100' away.

Easy to see this perfect soft slab/weak layer relation in this photo.
