We dug a pit NE near the top of the ivories. We had both a CT and ECT of 11 on the interface between the faceting snow and the windslab formed from the wind event earlier this week.

Headed up Cardiff today to get on the ivories and any other other tempting low angle runs. Our pit verified the instabilites that we were aware of. Definietly not the time to be stepping out. Cohesive slab sitting on a weak layer that is prime to go, possibly stepping down.
Plenty of wind above 9k, and almost everything above that was wind affected to some degree. Sheltered areas were the only places that still held decent powder.
