Low density powder snow on top of a stiff melt freeze crust on southerly and westerly aspects. Still some hidden rocks under the new snow. Signs of wind affect (loading on north and scouring on southerly).

Comments
Pit in Toledo Bowl. Mix of facets and crust on south facing terrain. Other areas were much thinner as average height of snow varied from 130cm in the gully features to 10cm on ridgetops. Areas with wildflower remants showing through the snowpack.
