Yesterday the SW winds were blowing moderately, calm today.

Every type of snow and crust is out there, with yesterday's wind adding another another challenge to the surface. Some decent turning in the protected mid elevation northern slopes on dry re-crystalized snow.

Wind loading on the eastern slopes but not very sensitive.

Up at the Steam Mill yurt for three days and the SW winds of yesterday while blowing around much snow did not seem to create very sensitive wind slab at present. The weak re-crystallized snow on the surface can still be found in the sheltered north slopes.
Photo of skin track yesterday blown in after only two hours despite being in a protected area. Much snowmobile activity in the non-motorized area as well.
