We didn't make it to ridge. So didn't encounter wind slabs, Snow was being transported. Wind skin above 9300. Often Couple inches snow blown in old skin tracks above 9000'
Think more wind tonight.

This is by far the deepest I have ever seen surface and near surface f​​​​acets!
Around foot deep of faceted loose unconsolidated snow. Unusual weather. Cold plesant weather with just a few inches of snow past 3 ish weeks lots of clear nights.
There is a wind skin that is holding down sluffing in wind exposed areas. Some sluffing around 9000' where wind protected.
I pole probed around some old slides, i was curious about in Bannana days- felt resistant/ consolidated/ not junky except around thin areas/ rocks.
