On a go anywhere base we found a deep and stable snowpack. Really not much to report on other than a weakening snow surface. Surface and near surface faceting were widespread throughout the area traveled and faceting under solar crusts was common. These aren't a concern now but may be once we get more snow. I did make for fun skiing.

Pic 2: Crown from old avalanche. Looks to have been filled in from a past storm or wind transport. NE facing at about 9800 ft.
