Comments
We found very stable snow at all elevations yesterday. Average snow depth in the Tony Grove Area is around 200 cms (6') of fairly hard snow, P-->1F between 8000 and 10000', with rocky outcrops and terrain features well filled in. Snow is very supportable with widespread developing surface weakness, nsf/SH. Last significant natural deep slab activity (Avalanches failing on Nov. facets) a little over 2 weeks ago, during Holiday storm cycle. Many very steep northerly facing slopes have now been well tested by climbing riders and descending snowboarders.
