Comments
Pocket on the NE face of the Logan Peak Cirque pulled out. About 200' wide. Viewed from the west ridge of Logan Peak. Did not see how far the avalanche ran. Date unknown but a least a week old as there was some new snow just below the crown. One of numerous avalanches -- including DB, Exit, Goal Post, Logan Peak West Diamond -- in a recent cycle that probably ran 1 to 2 weeks ago.
Comments
The most active period of the recent extensive natural cycle was overnight 2/16---2/17. A couple other natural avalanches were also observed in the Wellsville Range on 2-20
