While my party wasn't involved, I noticed nobody new much about this slide so I figured I'd fill in the details I know.
I noticed this avalanche about an hour after it happened. PC Ski Patrol confirmed nobody was caught, carried, or buried. Look closely and you can see one track going into it (assuming that's what triggered the slide), and one track cutting out to the skiers left of the slide (VERY LUCKY!). Avalanche debris went over 1,000 ft down to the base of the slope.
We noticed lots of avalanches along the PC Ridgeline yesterday on almost all aspects. Steep is bad right now, low angle is good.
