There seemed to be that persistant weak layer on this west facing aspect still, however, it was much less reactive than the north and east facing slopes.

Comments
This pit was dug in Grizzly Gultch at 9040 feet on a west facing slope of 20 Degrees incline. It was a warm 38 Degrees fahrenheit, and there did not appear to be any loading on the slope of any kind.
