Comments
I wanted to go check out Utah County area, with a long shot hope that a shallower snow pack could potentially lend itself to less of a slab on top of the November facets. This was not the case in the area we visited with plenty of collapses anytime we got off of the Box Elder peak summer trail and onto snow that was deeper than a few inches. Pit was dug facing due East at 7950' ECTP4 at 30cm. The weak layer above the thin crust at 50cm was also propagating easily enough to be concerning.
