Wind picked up significantly between 1300-1400. Lots of visible wind transport and a noticeable wind slabs developing on E-NE facing slopes. Skinned up to Twin Lakes Pass, still pretty thin but there was some good skiing to be had. In addition to wind drifted snow, new snow was beginning to accumulate as we skied down between 1500-1530. Snow pits at 10,000ft showed a depth of 45-50cm of snow. Biggest concern would be popping out a slab of snow and getting carried above hazardous terrain, take early season precautions!
