WX was not what I anticipated. Skies were BKN to SCT throughout the morning with dark ominous clouds to the north. A few quick squalls of S-1 PPgp. Winds were moderate to strong on the ridge lines.

Snow was slow to soften this morning due to cloud cover, didn't soften up high as of 13:00 egress, temperature helped with some softening as dropped elev and got out of the wind. North's were mostly unsupportable, south's had good freeze last night. Near rocks and in the trees was unsupportable.

Slide for life conditions exist an all aspects. Don't forget your sharps. Ski crampons critical, as well as possibly axe/crampons depending on where you're skiing.
