Problem #1 Comments
Widespread previous wind-loading and cornice formation observed near ridgelines and on W-N-E aspects above 9000 ft. *Of note: a partial pit dug at 10,000 ft. on a N-facing slope produced repeated results indicating a cohesive wind slab failing on a facet layer. CTV @80cm from surface. While winds prevail at these higher-elevation ridgelines, snow available for continued transport is minimal.

Problem #2 Comments
Below ~9800ft: observed saturated snow at the surface and beneath a crust variety (death cookies). Intermittent sun and clouds had little observable effect at higher elevations during the day, with greenhousing occurring lower down.
