Snow Characteristics Comments
Great few days with the snow slowly stacking up with a solid 12-14" around the Gold Hill area and conditions have greatly improved with some nice medium density snow. Lots of riders out getting after it and enjoying this late March riding.
Red Flags
Red Flags Comments
I did not check any red flags today, but I did notice mainly new snow sluffing with one decent debris pile on the east side of Moffit Peak. Otherwise the snow pack appears to have handled the new snow quite well. I could not get any drifted snow to crack or move today and the hazard was most likely in steep sustained terrain.

Problem #1 Comments
Not widespread, but there was some scattered loose new snow sluffing in very steep terrain. Things seem to settle out quite fast and the hazard felt like it was trending towards the lower end of moderate as the day went on.
Comments
The trail head was quite busy this morning with lots of riders out enjoying the great new snow.
The new snow was a little reactive this morning with some minor sluffing, but I did notice a good size sluff on the east side of Moffit Peak that left a good debris pile.
Some pretty good slope testers today and conditions generally stable.
Nice to see new snow and it was a good refresher for the area covering lots of old hard tracks.
