Weather Comments
Kind of a repeat of yesterday, obscured skies, moderate to heavy snow squalls, with some lulls. The sun never came out or even brightened the sky through the clouds, no greenhouseing noted, and colder temperatures with a seemingly drier air mass.

Comments
Just an update from yesterday, the new snow was cold and dry down at lower elevations than yesterday, and the sluffing was more active. It also seemed like either heat or wind had slabbed up the more exposed terrain on the surface and created some density inversions with lighter snow underlying denser snow. I did note some natural sluffing of the surface snow which I was not seeing yesterday. I would think any slopes that received wind and are steep would be suspect for tomorrow but it's hard to tell what got winded and what didn't due to continual snow flurry's. Also once again if the sun comes out wet activity is eminent with the large amount of light density snow and an abundance of slick bed surfaces.
photos: new snow depth, and continued snowfall.
