Comments
Traveled in mostly low angle terrain today and was finding a solid, right side up snowpack. Weaknesses in the pack were stubborn to fail. The weakest interface was about 43 cm's (17") down and failing on smaller grain facets with hard effort to fail but with Q1 quality shears. I didn't get any failures above or below the rime crust which was buried about 60 cm's down (24"). In the area I traveled I felt the danger was low. Low to moderate danger tomorrow depending on terrain choices. Avalanche danger should trend to decreasing danger unless the winds pick up and start moving snow.
