Weather Comments
Another sub-zero morning with very cold temperatures in Evanston, but much warmer at the trailhead. Felt like it was slightly warmer today, but on the ridge lines just enough wind with a little east direction kept it brisk.

Snow Characteristics Comments
Great dense settled snow conditions and the cooler temperatures are preserving the snow. A couple cold clear nights have started to weaken the surface snow, but no issues right now.

Red Flags Comments
Not sure the minor wind issue is a big red flag, but there was just enough loose surface snow and the light winds did blow the snow into very shallow wind drifts.

Problem #1 Comments
Very minor wind issues in my travels today, I observed some cracking of shallow wind drifts, but nothing was breaking too deep or wide. There was just enough light wind today to move a little snow around, some of my tracks started to drift in some after an hour so.
Comments
Another clear and beautiful day across the range, just some light winds and great snow conditions.
Only some minor cracking of some wind drifted snow on the ridge lines. Felt like things are trending toward a lower hazard except for the isolated persistent slab issues.
