Comments
Skinning across Patsey Marley there were obvious signs of wind transported snow. The ridge lines on both the East (heavens gate) and west (Microwave) sides were wind scoured and extremely slick causing multiple skinners to slide up to 20ft down hill in places while the middle was a soft wind slab. You can see the pillowy snow in the picture. No cracking or collapsing in the wind slab as it was extremely soft. On the microwave side snow was actively being blown over the ridge and loading microwave. Winds must have been from the west or southwest to cross load the slope and have since changed to be out of the north to be actively loading microwave. Scoured snow in red, pillowy wind slab in blue.
