Comments
Sunny day with clear skies. Warm in the sun and cool in the shade. Light wind NNW. No transport observed. Dense loose settled powder made for excellent riding. Given the terrain traveled today, on the fly observations produced variable results with a mix of crust facet layers and buried wind drifted snow at different depths within the top 100 cm of the snowpack. Surface hoar observed as well which could become problematic depending on timing and amount of the next round of precipitation. Steep lines all around the dial were ridden today resulting only in manageable dry loose sluffs.
FYI: UAC may want to note that depending on the OS, device, and/or browser the observation page is not consistently displaying all the required form fields. In my case, the weather form fields are not displaying.
