It seemed like overnight Sunday into Monday morning about 2" of new snow fell in mid Days Fork, with another 3-5" falling through the morning into mid afternoon when the snow tapered off and the sun poked through. So, about another 7" on top of the multiple feet of new snow from the weekend. Compared to the snow I saw yesterday in upper Porter Fork, the snow in Days Fork was deeper. It didn't seem wind effected, but the snow skied slower and although it was often in your face, the faster skiing conditions yesterday were better than today. The exception was when you skied over very steep convex terrain today, it was remarkable. Overall, I think the best riding might be in places out of the wind that didn't get quite as much snow in the past 5 days.
