The Providence Canyon area missed out on the nice bonus snow seen in the Central Bear River Range Sunday and Monday, but significant drifting has occurred due to sustained westerly winds in the first week of 2020.

Many slopes have sugary persistent weak layers that were buried by the New Years storm. The snow is particulary bad where it is less than about 3' deep.
