Comments
While walking up Bonkers I heard a super loud crack and witnessed a glide avalanche come off the rock slab skiers right of the Diving Board. The location of the slide is a usual suspect when it comes to glide avalanches, it’s located right above the small tree line that many people use to put in a skin trail to the Diving Board. I think there is some thermal activity in the rocks in this area and that’s why this rock slab sheads snow all season long.
