Snow Characteristics Comments
As Evelyn noted this morn there was a fine array of crusts, from wind to melt-freeze to a good combinations thereof. And indeed a bit of settled powder on high/north/sheltered.

Red Flags Comments
We didn't see any recent avalanches but read the Hogum report, which was our red flag and sent us to more sheltered terrain for the day. Though indeed it was treed off the ridge and there wasn't a lot of snow available to blow over from the crusted south faces, with that Hogum slab in mind we proceeded carefully off the ridge with a coupla ski cuts to see if there was any windslabbage in the fairly committing terrain we were entering, but it stayed put nicely. There had been some sluffing/rollerballing on the big E facing lines off the summit but the warmup was gradual enough that we gave a coupla seconds of thought to skiing that, but it's also pretty committing -more so than the north chutes - and didn't do it. The S/E facing shoulder shots - less steep, less committing - probably woulda been fine.
Sounds like not too much snow is coming in over the next few days, and colder temps should lock things up on the south faces and provide a fine dust-on-crust experience (it's better'n crust!). But it'll likely create some sluffage on most aspects?
