Skied Memorial #4. Didn't even have my Verts as I wasn't expecting more than an inch or two on softish hard pack. Instead there was 6-8" of medium-density powder. Made booting up more difficult but the skiing down delicious. Each turn at the top kicked off a river of slough, and after the fourth turn the entire top section of new snow sheared away. Not dangerous (I just stepped aside), but on a higher consequence line it might be. Also of note, though not surprising: lots of ice balls from rollers down lower to dodge.
