Started out calm day, but Uinta wind made its presence known and began cranking in the 30's and 40's by mid day, rapidly changed the landscape and the avy danger.

Recent big cornice triggered avy in Chalk Creek is a good reminder that shallow zones remain suspect.

While this avy was triggered by a natural cornice fall, it confirms my suspicions that there are plenty of save places to ride, but find a weakness in the pack and all bets are off.
