Problem #1 Comments
We avoided a few obvious fresh drifts on steep slopes, but did trigger shooting cracks in drifted snow in low angled terrain. Rain crust would flex under my weight and cause cracking in the soft, recently drifted snow.
Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Persistent Weak Layer
Trend
Same
Problem #2 Comments
Test shows potential for deep hard slab avalanches. Unlikely and in isolated outlying terrain with shallow snow cover and poor snow structure. A person might trigger a deep hard slab from a shallow part of the slab.

We found very nice "hero" powder conditions and lots of easily accessed untracked snow.
