Wind blowing hard and transporting a lot of snow on the ridge between Beartrap and Willow. My skin track got covered by wind blown snow between laps on an exposed part of a West facing slope.

Nasty frozen rain crust below about 8200 feet. Could this be a weak layer or bed surface under the new snow tonight and tomorrow?

Overall a nice afternoon in Beartrap with decent dense snow on sheltered slopes. Windy on the ridge line with pretty nasty gusts ever few minutes. Storm moving in.
