Comments
Travel was between about 8,200 ft and 9,400 ft in upper BCC. Storm snow was dense but well behaved. Hand pits at approx 9000 ft on both East (with sun crust underneath) and Northeast (with no sun crust) aspects showed good bonding of new snow to old snow interface. The wind was blowing plenty of snow around but I didn’t observe much slab formation where I was. I suspect this was a different story at higher elevations.
