Friday morning, April 13, 2018
The avalanche danger is CONSIDERABLE in upper elevation terrain facing the eastern half of the compass. Strong winds and heavy snowfall have created dangerous avalanche conditions - careful snowpack evaluation, cautious route-finding, and conservative decision making are essential for safe travel in avalanche terrain today. Both triggered loose storm snow and soft slabs are also possible on slopes steeper than 35 degrees.
