Problem
Wind Drifted Snow
Problem #1 Comments

Strong winds Monday night created a few drifts and scoured other slopes. These drifts and wind slabs were shallow and very small. Not much of an issue.

Comments

Photo below of Sunset Peak. Notice the wind scour that exposed old ski tracks. Lower, notice a few drifts.

Places untouched by wind or the slightest bit of drifting had better riding.

Wind slabs were very shallow and very small. Perhaps a few larger ones could be found. However, hard icy conditions were more of a hazard in steep exposed terrain.
