Forecast for the Skyline Area Mountains

Brett Kobernik
Issued by Brett Kobernik on
Wednesday morning, February 14, 2018

The majority of the terrain along the Skyline has a LOW avalanche danger. There is isolated MODERATE avalanche danger on very steep slopes above 9500' that face northwest through east. Human triggered avalanches are possible in this terrain but fairly unlikely.

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT WE MAY SEE A NUMBER OF STORMS THAT ADD ENOUGH SNOW OVER THE NEXT TEN DAYS TO MAKE THE AVALANCHE DANGER INCREASE SIGNIFICANTLY. DON'T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN AND STAY TUNED!
