We dug pits on an ENE facing, 33 degree slope at 9200 feet elevation. The first Compression test failed 18 inches from the surface at 25 hits CT25. Another Compression test failed at the ground interface (46 inches deep) at 15 hits, then failed at the layer 18 inches down at 24 hits, CT24. We had a full propagation failure at 26 hits when performing an Extended Column Test ECTP26. Additional details found in the video below.

We found decent riding where the wind had not affected the snow surface... There is still not enough snow to do much sledding, we saw several snowmobiles the had tagged rocks and suffered severe damage to their front ends.
