We noticed recent activity on the north side of Logan Peak in Upper Spring Hollow. A small wind slab, perhaps 40' wide and 8" deep at around 9200' on a drifted northeast facing slope.

We noticed some drifting from increasing southwest wind at upper elevations. Overnight winds, continuing tomorrow will create heightened avalanche conditions.

Not really a problem yet, but widespread very weak snow will cause a lingering persistent slab problem when the current surface is buried by a slab.
