High, dry and warm. Weather not affecting snow stability. In fact, I think the warm weather is putting the brakes on the faceting process and helping to hold the snowpack together.

Avalanche Problem #1
Problem #1 Comments

My partner in crime in the western Uintas, Ted Scroggin displays a sample of the snow surface... heat and rain crusts were a pretty widespread feature where we traveled. Could definitely be a player in the future, especially if buried and preserved as our snowpack grows and gets deeper. For right now though, the snowpack is comfortable in its own skin and the avalanche danger is low. However, if you're looking for a challenge... there's some character building snow with your name on it.
