Snow Characteristics Comments
There was a solid refreeze in Primrose Monday night. All aspects were supportable in the morning. Shady aspects were hard and slick. Ski crampons are necessary to continue skinning in steeper areas. Booting with french technique is possible, but boot crampons would be advisable in exposed terrain.
East and south facing snow at 9000 and below softened to good corn skiing at about 9:30-10:00am.

Red Flags Comments
The refreeze was good, but it is so warm, and there is so much snow still left to avalanche, that getting out early is more important than it typically is this time of year. Tomorrow's danger level could be higher (or increase sooner in the morning) if the overnight lows are higher than Monday night. But at least for today, Primrose was bomber in the morning.
